AYB, short for “All Your Base Are Belong To You,” is inspired by one of the internet’s most legendary memes.
AYB is a genesis meme on Base. We showed up early, never left, and spend our days making memes, playing games and keeping the timeline weird. CATS took every base. We’re handing yours back.
There’s even an easter egg in the genesis block of Base which pays tribute to the iconic meme we have reimagined.

Zero Wing lands in Japanese arcades. Nobody suspects a thing.

The Mega Drive version reaches Europe with a famously broken English intro. CATS meant “CATS has taken all of your bases.” What came out was legend.

YouTube goes down for maintenance and its error page reads “All your video are belong to us.”
